The Sally's Scribbles Update is here!

YO!

It's been a hot while since I promised the POST JAM VERSION of Sally's Scribbles. Life has gotten in the way a lot for every member of CAFÉ DNOCÉ, but today it is finally time. The YEARLONG UPDATE has arrived, and with it come the following features.

TECHNICAL/QOL

• The game now automatically saves your progress after every day
• You can now play the game with a pen tablet. Touch should work fine, too
• You can now set hotkeys to quickly switch colors or sell a painting
• A proper options menu, featuring more granular volume control and hotkey configurations
• The post-game screen has been given a power-up, allowing you to save your favourite drawings to your computer

CONTENT

• Refined the drawing algorithm
• It now costs a certain amount of money to start work on a canvas, disincentivizing re-rolls
• Economy rebalancing
• Added seasons, all 4 of them
• Rain days and some other weather types slow down the draw timer and reduce the frequency of customer arrival
• Added new weather types: Heatwave, Snowstorm, Windy, Snow, Festival Night
  • Thunderstorm days are no longer skipped, but playable

• Added a lot of new customers
• Some customers now respond with unique response dialogue
• Added a lot of new guessing prompts
• Guessing prompts may now appear recoloured or flipped along an axis
• Added new events, made events more impactful
• Some customers don special outfits on eventful days
• Added 2 new music tracks, for Bad Weather days and Festival Night, respectively
• Minor visual updates and refinements

The YEARLONG UPDATE is highly likely the final update for Sally's Scribbles. Thank you for playing, and let us know what you think! This is CAFÉ DNOCÉ's first time making a game that takes longer than a week to build, so we faced a lot of challenges in our endless scope-creeping of the seasons content.
